Professionals
Almost 40 years ago Dr. Tork developed, for the first time, a unique revolutionary product that helped solve a specific leather processing problem.
This revolutionary invention was the starting point for a series of innovations in products used for the care of leather, fabric and wood.
Even though UNITERS’ strength resides above all in solving complex problems encountered when producing articles for the home, its Research Centre also has all the resources needed to develop and test products made of metal, stone, plastic or glass. UNITERS can guide your company through all the process phases from project creation to post-production marketing.
Products
Proposing solutions that improve the aspect and duration of furniture after being sold has always been one of UNITERS’ strong points.
This is why many of the major furniture producers trust our abilities and collaborate with us in order to propose innovative solutions to a continually developing market.
Colour Matching
UNITERS is the only company to boast an archive of more than 20,000 samples of leather colours.
Almost three decades of partnership with furniture, leather goods and automotive manufactures have allowed UNITERS to create the largest collection of colours in the sector.
Manufactures and specialists that use our technical and repair products can send us the colour references so they can be read and formulated. The UNITERS laboratory, which is equipped with the most modern instruments, can reproduce any leather colour. Our team can also train and advise specialists who operate in the leather repair or restoration sector.
Materials Testing
The UNITERS Research Centre offers a complete range of analysis services to furniture and fashion sectors which need their leather materials to be tested in order to identify the cause of production problems or to comply with industry standards.
The leather samples are assessed using a combination of resistance tests (flex, abrasion and light aging). When the test is finished, UNITERS technicians issue a detailed report on the cause of the problem and how to solve it.
