Uniters S.p.A. IMS Policy

Uniters S.p.A., a company based in Montecchio Maggiore (VI), produces and sells, in over 80 countries around the world, products for cleaning, for the care and repair of articles in leather, fabric, wood and other materials.


UNITERS top management has defined an "Integrated Management System Policy", adequately kept under control, which:

  1. It is appropriate for the purposes of the Organization;
  2. It includes the commitment to continuously improve the effectiveness of the SGI and processes, in compliance with legal requirements;
  3. It provides as a reference framework the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015, UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015, UNI EN ISO 45001: 2018, the principles sanctioned by the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) Base Code and as a practice, the revision of the quality-environment-safety-ethics;
  4. It aims to preserve the information assets, guaranteeing adequate levels of security in the processing of personal and strategic information used in business processes, implementing a privacy security management that responds to the requests of EU Regulation 2016/679;
  5. It includes the process of continuous improvement of qualitative, environmental and safety performances;
  6. It is communicated to all personnel in an understandable way at all levels, is posted on the notice board, is disclosed to suppliers, is present on the Uniters website, is available to the public upon request;
  7. It is drawn up and signed by the Management following the conclusion of the Environmental Analysis, the Company Safety Document, the Chemical Risk Assessment Document, the Noise Risk Assessment Document and the Acoustic Impact Assessment, the Vibration Risk Assessment Document Mechanics, the Work-related Stress Risk Document, the Fire Risk, the Explosion Protection Document, the General Safety and Behavior Rules for third parties - visitors, the Interference Risk Assessment Documents, etc .; subsequently it is re-examined during the periodic reviews by the Management to ascertain its continued suitability and to keep it always adequate to the needs.

Integrated Quality-Environment-Safety-Ethics Policy

UNITERS, in pursuing its industrial objectives, believes to establish an Integrated Management System with the company management system, in order to guarantee its customers safe and reliable products and a regular and efficient service in respect and protection of the environment, health and safety of its employees, collaborators, visitors and suppliers.

UNITERS is aware that the quality and environmental compatibility of its products and services as well as a correct, conscious and transparent management of its human heritage and the supply chain have a decisive influence on its image and therefore its position on the market and the profitability of the company. Company.

The Company has integrated and keeps constantly improving the Management Systems for Quality-Environment-Safety in accordance with the UNI EN ISO 9001, 14001 and UNI ISO 45001 standards.


Therefore it is UNITERS 'will to follow the general concepts listed below:


  • the utmost understanding of customers' requirements to adapt to them at every stage of their work;
  • take steps to make known to current and potential customers, as well as to the community, the company's attention to internal staff, the quality of the products and services offered, the environment and safety;
  • take action to train, inform and sensitize internal staff, collaborators and external suppliers about the company's commitment to safeguarding health and safety;
  • ensure compliance with all legislative requirements and any agreements signed by the organization regarding the environment, safety and labor laws, always favoring the application of the most favorable legislation for the worker;
  • monitor for a continuous improvement the aspects that can cause impacts with the consequent production of waste and emissions connected with UNITERS activity;
  • monitor the level of health and safety of workers through medical examinations, inspections of the workplace by the Competent Doctor and medical examinations, in compliance with the requirements of the health protocol established on the basis of the risks associated with company processes;
  • obtain the quality-environment-safety level established at the minimum cost;
  • prevent product defects, accidents and injuries through periodic checks;
  • assess and monitor all the impacts produced on the environment generated by the company in carrying out all its activities, main or supporting those characteristics, in particular by making efforts to avoid accidental spills that could cause environmental impacts;
  • continuously improve processes, taking as a reference the UNI EN ISO 9001 standard, the UNI EN ISO 14001 standard and the UNI ISO 45001 standard;
  • increase individual awareness regarding the quality of work and the importance of observing safe behaviors for oneself and for others in the company;
  • guarantee the rejection of practices that violate human rights in general and those of the worker in particular (disciplinary procedures that include corporal punishment and / or mental or physical coercion, child labor, forced labor, discrimination in the workplace, deposit of sums of money );
  • ensure the adoption of procedures and behavioral methods that are open and respectful of these rights (freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining, fair remuneration, respect for working hours including rest and holidays);
  • guarantee training on issues relating to quality-environment-safety-ethics-information security at all company levels;
  • act in an informed manner in compliance with the law and regulations in force in Italy and in the countries in which the company operates;
  • treat customers, shareholders, employees, suppliers, the surrounding community and the institutions that represent it, including any public official or public service provider, as well as any third party with whom one enters into a relationship for professional reasons, with honesty , fairness, impartiality and without prejudice;
  • compete fairly on the market with competitors ensuring transparency, correctness, professional commitment and moral rigor;
  • maintain the confidentiality of information concerning the Company, its know-how, employees, customers and suppliers;
  • involve workers in company activities, with particular regard to the figure of RLS;
  • operate according to the principle that every operation or transaction must be correctly registered, authorized, verifiable, legitimate, consistent and congruous;
  • avoiding or declaring in advance any conflicts of interest with the Company;
  • use the intellectual and material assets of the Company, including IT tools, in compliance with the general rules and their intended use and in order to protect their conservation and functionality, in compliance with the intellectual property rights of third parties, avoiding their use in violation of any legal provision;
  • include the commitment to continuous improvement for customer satisfaction, for the health and safety of workers-customers-suppliers and for the protection of the environment;
  • maintain and improve the security of privacy through adequate levels of: confidentiality (only authorized users can access the necessary information), integrity (protection against alteration or damage, protection of the accuracy and completeness of the data) and availability (the information is protected by that ensure effective recovery);
  • in the face of changes in the business context, market and pandemic events, take any action following events such as: significant business developments, new threats considered in the risk analysis activity, significant information security incidents , evolution of the regulatory environment regarding the secure processing of information.

The "Integrated Management System Policy" is available to the public upon request, is disclosed to suppliers, a copy of it is posted on the notice board and published on the company website.

The Management sets out time and quantifiable objectives each year for improving the IMS.

To achieve the proposed objectives, the Management ensures that all employees are aware and actively participate in this policy and undertakes to ensure that they are made aware of environmental and safety issues and receive the necessary and adequate training in this regard.

Improving the quality, the environment and the health and safety and security of information is the responsibility of the Management and the task of the entire company structure.
